Turkey Trots in Orange County 2026: Thanksgiving Races Across OC

Thanksgiving falls on Thursday, November 26, 2026, and Orange County has turkey trots both the weekend before and on the holiday itself. This list covers the whole county, with races this year in Anaheim, Irvine and Tustin. It pulls every upcoming Thanksgiving themed race in the area listed on RunSignup and updates automatically as new races open registration.

Tips for Race Morning

Most trots start early on Thanksgiving morning, and the bigger ones can fill parking lots and close nearby streets, so check your start time and plan to arrive early. Late November mornings along the OC coast are usually cool and can be damp, then warm up quickly, so a light throwaway layer works well at the start. Check the National Weather Service San Diego forecast, which covers Orange County, the night before.
